Paul
McNamara (business affairs),
co-founder of Spirit House Records, has many years of experience
as a musician, song-writer, and producer. McNamara graduated
from Interlochen Arts Academy, where he studied both piano
and music composition, and then from the University of Miami,
where he continued his studies in composition. From 1987 to
1992 he toured extensively as the keyboard player for the
pop band, "In the Flesh," playing with bands including Crowded
House, Living Colour, The Fixx, and Animal Logic. McNamara
also owned and operated Slaughterhouse Recording Studios,
in Western Massachusetts, for ten years, during which time
he produced many pre grunge gems for bands including Sebadoh,
Gobblehoof, and Deislemeat. In 1998 McNamara started a small
gift company that he has built into a multi-million dollar
organization, overseeing development, marketing, sales, and
distribution. |
