View Farm Recording Studio
"When I was eighteen I went to
Long View Farm to do a recording with my band, and Jessie
Henderson was the engineer. I fell in love with the studio
experience and asked Jessie if he'd let me hang around the
studio and help out. For the next two years I did just that,
even weeding the driveway, and in turn Jessie took me under
his wing. The coolest thing about learning from Jessie was
that he put the emphasis on the music instead of the knobs.
Jessie would say that it doesn't matter how great the snare
drum sounds if the song sucks. Bonnie Milner is the manager
of Long View Farm, and has done more favors for local musicians,
and non-musicians, than anyone else I know of. Bonnie has
been my biggest supporter, and has opened many doors for me
as a producer and engineer. On top of working about a hundred
hours per week, Bonnie also runs a great program called the
Cool Kids Choir, for grammar school children." -- Danny

VH1
- Save the Music
Music programs in schools impact kids
in the most positive way at a crucial time in their lives.
Studies show that kids that participate in music programs
do better in all other areas of studies. In the past year,
due to extreme budget cuts, music programs have been discontinued
across the country. A percentage of the proceeds from the
NRBQ tribute record that we are making are going to the VH1
Save The Music Foundation. www.vh1.com/insidevh1/savethemus
