SpiritHouse Recording Studio
is a state-of-the-art recording facility located in Northampton
Massachusetts. The studio is equipped with a Sony DMX-R100 console,
outboard gear by Neve, Telefunken, Lexicon, dbx, and an impressive
collection of classic microphones. The studio was recently renovated,
and offers a spacious, acoustically stunning control room and four
live rooms. In addition to sounding great, our studios provide relaxed
and organic settings that allow bands the space and freedom to focus
on their craft and to produce some truly wonderful recordings. See

Danny Bernini (A&R), co-founder of Spirit House Records, has
been involved in all aspects of music performance and recording.
Bernini is an accomplished producer, recording engineer, mixer and
programmer as well a musician and songwriter, equally at home on
guitar, bass, drums, or percussion.
Bernini worked as a live sound engineer in the Boston area and
was tour manager for several bands from 1986 to 1993. At the same
time he was head house sound engineer for the Channel rock and roll
venue (1986-1989), and was guitarist and songwriter in Floating
Boats, a Boston area college rock band (1985-1993). From 1988 to
1993, Bernini engineered at the highly regarded Long View Farm recording
studio, near Boston, and built up a relationship that has continued
with collaborations to this day. In 1993 he moved on to become an
engineer at The Hit Factory, in New York City, before forming his
own Spirit House Productions in 1995.
Bernini has a rich and varied discography that encompasses many
genres of music, and includes artists ranging from Acoustic Junction,
NRBQ, and Spookie Daly Pride, to Blondie, Bernnie Williams and Notorious
